Friday Weekend Escape to Talbingo in the Snowy Mountains, Australia

Today we’re escaping for the weekend to the small town of Talbingo, located on the Snowy Mountains Highway in New South Wales, Australia. The town was moved to its current location during the construction of the Snowy Mountains Hydro-electric Scheme. The original township of Talbingo was inundated with flood waters from Jounama Dam.

The Snowy Mountains region is the setting for the fictitious town of Snowgum Creek in my contemporary inspirational romance series. Today I’m also celebrating the release of my third book in the Snowgum Creek series, The Doctor’s Return. Below I’ve included a few photos of Talbingo. Enjoy your weekend!
